Position Description Title: CLEANING TECH Hours per week: 40 Reports To: Maintenance Manager Greccio’s mission is to provide stable, safe, and affordable housing to offer resources for Residents to achieve stability, and to promote solutions to the affordable housing needs of our community. Duties and Responsibilities: Cleaning all common areas of properties, which may include the leasing office, vacant units, laundry rooms, fitness room, community room, restroom, stairwell, storage area, boiler room, maintenance shop and elevators. Trash pick-up in all common areas Check supplies and replace, as needed, with Manager approval. Check light bulbs around the property and replace, as needed (i.e., exit signs). Vacuum and shampoo carpeting, as needed. Clean hard surface floors Wash windows, as needed. Outside/Yard clean up Deliver letters, flyers, newsletters, etc., to Residents. Attend and participate in staff meetings as required or requested. Other responsibilities as assigned by Maintenance Manager. Essential Skills and Abilities Communication/Language Skills – ability to comprehend safety rules and warning labels, ability to communicate positively & professionally with residents and staff members. Qualifications: • Minimum one year commercial and/or residential cleaning experience is preferred. • Excellent people skills, organizational skills (oral and written) and the ability to excel at details, multi-tasking and working under pressure. • High school or equivalent • Commitment to the Greccio mission, its Residents, and the Colorado Springs community • Must provide your own transportation, current driver’s license, and clean driving record • Acceptable criminal and driving history Benefits: • Benefits to include health insurance, vacation and paid holiday schedules. * Mileage Reimbursement Greccio Housing is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to the belief that each individual is entitled to equal employment opportunities.
