Job Location: Denison, TX Job Title: Operations Assistant Are you looking to work with down-to-earth people? Do you find a busy schedule rewarding? So awesome that we rarely have openings (the last open office position was over 4 years ago!). We have our NEW Denison location opening this Fall. OPERATIONS ASSISTANT This position is a good fit if you: • Like to end the day with a finished ‘To Do’ list. • Appreciate structure, but don’t mind some fluidity to the day. • Have computer skills and are eager to learn new skills. • Are comfortable communicating in person, email, chat, and phone. • Like abbreviations and data; KPI, SOP • Have a positive attitude – no one wants to work with a negative nelly. Do you need experience? It would be helpful (especially if you have vendor management or procurement experience), but we believe character and attitude are more important than traditional experience. Integrity, honesty, and accountability are critical to work with our core team. What is the job? You’ll work directly with the Operations Manager. Tasks vary from monitoring daily metrics to performing factory safety checks. You’ll track material usage, issue POs, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials. A typical day could look like this: • Review receiving reports, check against anticipated deliveries. • Contact vendors for material test results. • Perform random safety/cleanliness inspection of finishers. • Meet with OM to adjust production schedule. • Perform spot inventory for critical items. • Continue sourcing raw materials for R&D’s project. • Review daily metrics across factories. Other miscellaneous duties include facility compliance with safety and cleanliness standards, working with warehouse and shipping staff during peak season, etc. Compensation & Benefits • Base $36,000 - $45,000, plus annual performance bonus • Health & Dental Insurance • 6 Holidays, 40 hours PTO, 40 hours Vacation – after 90 days • $30 monthly health & wellness reimbursement (gym, yoga, sports massage) • Cool company swag, regular GIF conversations, and luncheons.
