Elevator Company in Signal Hill, CA is seeking a Warehouse Lead Supervisor Full Time (8 hour shift). Work hours are between 5am-5:30pm. Some O.T. will be required. Approx. 10 hours of O.T. per month. We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Lead Supervisor who would be assisting with maintaining the warehouse, inventory, and tools. You will also play a pivotal role to the operations day-to-day by delivering parts, materials, and tools to job sites and perform the essential functions listed below: Essential Functions: 1. Collaborate with the Warehouse Associate to inspect, label and record incoming shipments of parts, equipment, and tools by hand or on the computer to maintain inventory records. 2. Sort materials, using fork lift if necessary, to place on pallets, racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence or product code number. You help own the organizational piece of the warehouse! 3. Prepare requests for parts, equipment and tools via requisition forms or phone. 4. Complete requested orders and record outgoing materials. 5. Load orders into truck via fork lift or hand. 6. Transport and deliver goods to and from designated job site. Must have a clean driving record and be able to drive a stake bed truck. 7. Manage and distribute daily delivery schedules. 8. Hire, Train, and Review warehouse staff. Must have some leadership skills. Additional Responsibilities: 1. Cleans warehouse and equipment. 2. Responsible for inventory checks every six months. 3. Troubleshoot parts delivery issues (change location, missing shipments, etc.) 4. Adjustments to inventory stock Education: High school diploma Experience: 1+ experience in a warehouse environment and/or as a truck driver. Skill Requirements: Must have a valid CA driver’s license and a clean driving record. Previous experience with driving 26' stake bed is helpful but not required. We will train. Forklift certified is a plus but not required. Must be able to lift 50 to 100 lbs. Ability to handle physical workload. Equal Opportunity and Drug testing is required.
