...BRMC, Toad the wet sprocket, Bowie, Beatles, Rush, Radiohead, the Veils, Jellyfish, Travis, Tears 4 Fears, PJ Harvey, A-Ha., etc.,. for regional touring, working coverband/GB band. This is for an Alternative General Business band catering to a younger professional demographic who may not want to hear the same 'classics' that have people leaving weddings and such.. If interested, would love to chat more. ( and Zero offense to anyone doing those classics. Some do them very well, it's just time for someone to do some classics from the 80's/90's 2000's that don't involve "I'm coming out" or 'BrickHouse'. *The key for this to succeed is astute attention to detail ( Tone, Pacing, etc.. NO ''DYLAN" Style COVERS of 'Karma Police'! ) The aim is to sound as authentic for as much of the material as possible. Period. I have done this on the west coast. There is money to be made. Being tight and marketable above the standard competition is key. I am a stand up drummer/lead vocalist looking for good, talented, available people willing to learn their parts on their own, cutting down significantly on group rehearsal time, in order to make the most of the time getting sets and sounds together to make the the initial rehearsals count.., then really just upkeep and gigs until putting new material in the set.
