Need diagnostic work for an older Nissan pickup

I have an older Nissan pickup. Suddenly quit running. Changed out fuel pump and noticed there’s no current going to pump. Need diagnostic work to determine cause. Will authorize repair if it’s not much more than 80s model truck so it should be simple to diagnose. Rick
