Guitarist looking to start Memphis project

Looking to form a tight, versatile band that can mix indie rock, soul, and funk. I play guitar and saxophone (and bass if needed), but I'm looking to play guitar in this group and need everything else: keys, drums, vocals, bass, and horns. Ideally, would love to form a tight rhythm section and back a female singer; we'd practice 1-2 times a week, write some songs and go from there. Think of a mix of Stax, Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, King Curtis, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings + Little Feat, The Band, Big Star, Steely Dan etc. Not going to demand samples of your previous work; feel free to send if you have them, but I know there are plenty of great musicians who haven't found the right group yet. If you're diligent about practicing, really learning songs, and love lots of different kinds of music, I'm sure it will be a good fit. We can schedule a practice time/meetup and go from there. Thanks!
