The service technician shall be responsible for the diagnosis, service, repair and maintenance of residential solar systems and their related components.  This role requires exceptional customer service, strong organizational and communication skills. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Comply with all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures Work with basic hand and electrical tools Regularly perform general carpentry and drywall repairs Effectively troubleshoot and repair roof leaks Effectively troubleshoot solar systems, solar components, and electrical issues Sit inspections as needed Work to problem solve and resolve service issues independently as a solar service professional Effectively communicating, schedule dates, timelines, and service resolutions with our customers Facilitate communication, feedback, and updates between supervisors, field teams, and scheduling teams regarding corrections and changes needed. Suggest additional repairs when identified and needed Keep detailed records and create service reports to be shared with the operations and field teams. Identify, document and report maintenance and repair work   Role Requirements: Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance) Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces which requires frequent bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, turning, standing, and balance Ability to climb ladders Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including but not limited to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, wet environment, and humidity Ability to frequently utilize hand functions requiring fine motor skills, including but not limited to fine manipulation, grasping, and pinching Ability to work within the safe range of equipment such as ladders, fall protection harnesses, and other personal protective equipment Ability to work and maintain balance on roofs and other areas of height Ability to work in confined spaces such as attics, basements, and crawl spaces which requires kneeling and crouching   Full time work 40+ hours, overtime pay for over 40 hours in 1 week.
