Omaha Dock Master National Janitorial company is seeking EXPERIENCED Dock Master for a Fortune 500 Company in Omaha Nebraska. As the Dock Master, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing a corporate receiving dock. The candidate will adhere to, implement, and demonstrate safe work practices and procedures. The successful candidate will be highly organized, personable and keep a neat and clean loading dock. This is a full-time hourly Responsibilities · Control traffic flow of delivery vehicles · Organize deliveries coming into the loading dock for delivery to their designated destinations. · Keep the dock area clean, organized and safe at all times · Clean and supply designated building areas (sweeping, scrubbing, power washing vacuuming, mopping, policing etc.) · Carry out cleaning tasks and special projects · Monitor and control trash and recycling dumpsters · Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs · Organize and deliver incoming mail/packages · Support the building services staff · Follow all health and safety regulations Skills · Prior experience operating a loading dock is preferred · Use of pallet jacks and dock equipment · Experience as a janitor/custodian is a plus · Ability to handle cleaning equipment and machinery · Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies · Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets · Integrity and ability to work independently Must pass all E-Verify, criminal background checks, and meet hiring requirements. Compensation Hourly pay is based on experience.
