Part-Time Laundress needed immediately for a private estate in Santa Rosa. This is a part-time, live-out position, two weekdays per week, 2-4 hours per day, with potential for more hours. Ideal candidates will live locally and be able to occasionally work on the weekend. Responsibilities and Duties: - Tend to the laundry and ironing needs of the household; including clothing, bed linens and towels - Daily bed making and changing of bed sheets weekly, or as-needed (not all rooms are in use) - Organize and maintain the laundry room, closets, and drawers - Possible other housekeeping duties as needed, including assisting and covering for the primary housekeeper Skills and Qualifications: - Previous experience and solid understanding of fabrics and their care - Skilled at folding neatly and ironing - Able to mend clothes and make minor alterations a plus, but not required - Organized and takes initiative - Pleasant demeanor - Flexible attitude, willing to adjust to the varying needs of the household - Diligent worker who takes pride in their work - Maintain a high level of strict confidentiality and professionalism - Dog friendly Requirements: - Must pass a full background check - Must provide references - Must sign a contract and confidentiality form Pay is $25/hour as a 1099 contractor.
