We are looking for someone to assist the Head of Grounds Maintenance in daily maintenance responsibilities at this historic Japanese garden. Duties would include, but not be limited to, cleaning up debris, raking gravel, maintaining our Koi pond and filtration system, watering, fertilizing, and helping with projects. The job, at times, requires strenuous and repeated physical exertion. All of the work is done outdoors in all types of weather. All staff are regularly interacting with the gardens visitors. Basic knowledge of landscape maintenance tools and techniques is preferred. The Landscaping industry encompasses a vast array of subjects from ecosystems and climate to construction and design. This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone to explore what their future focus may be.
