Hi, I'm replying to the NYT article this-butterfly-was-the-first-in-north-america-that-people-made-extinct.html
I think I saw this butterfly for 3 straight days around Buena Vista Park's upper hills a week or so ago. I've never seen one like that and it was quiet memorable. I could not get it to sit still for a pic like the others I've seen here.
It might not be extinct in SF...
Anybody know the author or someone connected to this?
