Apply to join our talented team today! Job Details Full-time day shift, 40 or more hours per week. Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm is preferred, or a similarly proposed work schedule. Must be willing to be on call for rare after-hours emergencies, as well as travel between two different locations on demand. Valid driver’s license required. Essential Job Requirements -- Knowledge of and/or experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction, carpentry, painting services, and other general handyman experience in building maintenance --Provide basic tools for the position --3 years’ building maintenance experience --Experience in property maintenance or a related field --3+ years’ experience in commercial/residential carpentry --Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of buildings --Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions --Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards --Skilled in using standard powered and non-powered tools Example of Essential Duties Assist with new construction and renovation projects. Construct and coordinate other trades and design. Projects include demo, construction of new walls, drywall, and taping., install flooring and tiling. Install doors, frames, locks, side lights, interior trim work, and cove base. Fit/install window frames, doors, door frames and door hardware. Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required. Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws. Install or repair doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools. Demolition experience and familiar with carpentry tools is essential. Ability to follow a schedule and flexibility to change course if issues arise also required.
