IMMEDIATE HIRE for the right person. We are a growing Specialty Contractor with an office located in Snohomish. We need a Field Operations Lead responsible for handling most of our onsite logistics on our jobsites. Our jobsites range from the Seattle area all the way down to San Diego, so some travel is required (Flying and Driving) This job can grow into a Project Engineer/Project Manager position if you display the aptitude for the position! Job Responsibilities: - Field measure onsite prior to installs. - Receive trucks/deliveries on jobsites. - Deliver material to jobsites from our warehouse. - Operate various types of forklifts during unloads/deliveries. - Installing Bike Racks and Lockers – we will train. - Complete punch-list work as needed. - Maintain cleanliness/organization of our small warehouse. - When there is no onsite tasks, you can help with submittals, bid prep, and job takeoffs. - Roughly 75% of your time would be in the field/on jobsites, 25% in-office. The ideal candidate: - Can work efficiently on their own, but can also work within our team. - Is comfortable making field decisions on their own. - Is comfortable talking to people in positions of authority (i.e. Superintendents, etc.). - Likes to work with their hands. - Can travel on short notice (to OR and CA) – company pays for all travel expenses. - Can solve problems on their own. - Has great communication skills. - Enjoys having new and different tasks everyday. Essential Job Related Skills: - Basic power tool and/or carpentry experience. - Able to lift heavy & sometimes awkward loads. - Must be able to pass drug test (required for work on certain jobsites). - Willing to submit a WA Driver Record. - Must be able to pass a background check (required for work on certain jobsites). - Good communication skills: phone calls, texts, emails. - Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Bluebeam a plus). - FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE IS A MUST! We want you to have a work/life balance but your job tasks will change from one day to the next. Preferred Job Related Skills: - Must be 25 years old (rental car requirement) and have a valid driver’s license. - Forklift experience. - Be able to draft a competitive Fantasy Football team.
