There was this one time we were riding on a bus and got into this long conversation about books. That was nice, and it was dumb of me not to try to stay in contact but I just couldn't get up the courage to ask; after all, maybe you didn't enjoy the talk as much as I did. You'll never see this, but I was the girl who tried to pitch you The Malazan Book of the Fallen series super hard and you were the guy who politely shut down that angry dude in the front when all I could do was shut up because he scared me.
