Singer looking for a music group, I will audition!

Hello, I'm 28 and have a love for all kinds of music. My wife and I moved back to Lubbock a year ago, and now that things are opening back up, I want to audition for a music group! I have a bachelors from Tech in music education studying voice. I've been teaching music for 5 years, and I think I have so many things to gain from performing. I'll do anything from rock, gospel to barbershop etc.. Only thing I'll decline is country. My range is G2 - G4 comfortably, with falsetto up to C5. My favorite part is tenor 2/lead baritone. I can do piano too, but only chords faithfully. I'd want to do paying gigs, but I also understand if we form a new band that might take a hot minute. I'll have time to practice and rehearse most evenings, the weekends and during holiday time. I'm not closed to the idea of doing originals, helping to write, and trying to write some myself.
