Are you a self-starter who can work unsupervised in the field doing service repairs and maintenance? Are you willing to work outdoors in the summer? Can you occasionally lift motors/curtains weighing up to 80lbs? Blue Cow Service is looking for an individual living in the Buckeye, Tonopah, Verrado area. The position will start with training in the maintenance and repair of computer controlled fan/misting systems, curtains, motors, belts, plumbing and other equipment/systems required to cool livestock 🐄 on multiple West Valley dairies. The ideal person will have at minimum a basic understanding of and history in mechanical and/or electrical service/maintenance. This is a contractual (sub-contractor) position, taxes or any other federal/state deductions are your responsibility to file. April to October is a full time position with the months of November to March 'mostly' free. The right person will need to and be able to budget and save for the off season months. After training(@$15hr) the starting pay depending on experience (electrical knowledge a plus) and how hard you want to work will fall somewhere between $900.00 to $1,200.00+ per week. Quick pay raises possible for an honest, courteous, motivated, hard working, organized individual with the opportunity to earn as much as $35 to $40+ per hour PLUS Service/Trip charges after as little as 3 to 4 years. After training a service truck, parts and materials are provided. Hand and power tools are your responsibility.
