Description

I inherited June Bug from my recently departed father. She was an inside cat for my younger sister, but once he passed June Bug had to become an outside cat due to a lease agreement her mother was locked into. JB did not do well outside, her ears and nose were covered in scabs from mosquito bites, she had picked up hook worms, and constantly begged to be let inside=( My sister asked me to take her in and I couldn't say no! I discovered JB was expecting kittens during her first vet appointment! So that meant no vaccines could be given until after she gives birth. I had a battery of tests run, blood and fecal, the only health issues found were hook worms for which she has been treated. Vet saw 2 babies on the ultrasound, but there definitely could be more! I can't keep the kittens so I'm trying to get a jump start on adoption! I don't have an exact due date however, the kittens should be here sometime next month. I will keep this post updated with pictures of the kittens once they're born. They will be staying with their mother for 10-13 weeks before being adopted out. I am 100% open to visits for any interested person plus I don't plan on letting anyone I haven't met adopt them. There will be a small adoption fee, I was thinking around $50, which may increase if you would like me to have them fully vaccinated and/or fixed prior to adoption. Some info on momma kitty. JB is under a year old, domestic long hair, 6.8lbs and completely black. She is very affectionate and has shown no issues warming up to my 2 large dogs. The kittens will also likely be dog friendly as they will be raised around my dogs. No clue about daddy kitty so it will be exciting seeing what these kittens look like! Please reach out via email or text if you're interested and would like updates on JB's pregnancy and the kittens growth when they get here!
