We are currently accepting applications for a Community Service Worker II position in the Parks Division of the Community Services Department. Duties include: maintaining buildings and grounds, structures, fences, trees, shrubs, flowers, and other cemetery related property; laying out grave sites; assisting patrons with the purchase and/or location of burial lots; and performing work in the maintenance of City parks, buildings, facilities; and more! Typical hours of position: at times will require PM and weekend work, and seasonally may adopt a modified schedule to include 4 ten-hour work days. The ideal candidate must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED, etc.) and possess or obtain (within 6 months of hire) and maintain a valid Class B CDL license with no air brake restrictions. Previous experience in building and grounds maintenance including landscaping, parks/recreation facilities, and heavy equipment operation experience is preferred.
