The Sacramento Regional Conservation Corps (SRCC) provides pre-employment and employment-driven training for youth ages 18-25 in the greater Sacramento Region. SRCC partners with the John Muir Charter School to provide WASC-accredited High School Diploma education allowing adults who currently do not have one, to earn their diploma. The Program Model for SRCC Corpsmembers involves a 5-day program each week with 10.5 hours in high school classes, 32 hours (4 days) in paid job training, and 2 hours in leadership development, work skills and work advancement training.
