This position is a full time, entry level "PRODUCTION ARTIST" position that values high productivity. We're seeking a self disciplined worker who is able remain active and productive each shift. Superior work ethic is key here, as everything else can be trained. This company is small but continues to conservatively grow, even in the current economic climate. Please know that this is a messy factory type position. Though the work is artistic, this is a production art role for a high volume e-commerce art company and not a "fine art" gallery role. *Our product can be seen in detail on our website www.artisanmoss.com and serious applicants should review the commercial gallery and retail products to better understand the role.* This position is offered, in good faith, at $15/hr to start with an increase after a 60 day training period. The selected candidate will have a 60 day probationary period - or a temp-to-hire - training period before the permanent role is assured. Frequent raises, based on merit, is a part of our culture here. The hours are 7:30 am to 4 pm Mon - Friday in Cameron Park, CA. Please only reply if you can commit to fast paced work during consistent 40 hour work weeks. The ideal candidate will have: -HS education or equivalent -physically able to stand for 8 hour shifts -physically able to lift 40 lb materials -ability to stay on task when self directed for whole shifts -Ability to produce in a fast-paced production / manufacturing environment -full ability to see and identify different color tones Bonus skills a candidate could bring: -ability to use paint sprayers or air brushes -carpentry or framing skills -talent or skill in sewing, art, crafting, sculpting, etc. -Prior experience with fulfillment or e-commerce -prior artistic, fabrication, or production environment experience Please include a brief explanation to express what motivates your interest in our position.
