Montana Reclaimed Lumber is looking to fill a unique full-time, long term position at our main yard in Gallatin Gateway, MT. Montana Reclaimed Lumber Co. is a growing company looking to hire a corral board apprentice, who can help us process and reclaim a variety of antique lumber in order to fulfill custom orders and turn the reclaimed material into new products such as paneling and siding. We are looking to add a hardworking, highly motivated team member to our busy, rapidly growing lumber yard. The position requires the applicant to be a hard worker, punctual, able to follow instructions, be efficient, attentive to details, organized, and maintain a clean and safe work space. This position will start with learning the basics of reclaimed lumber and corral board, but responsibilities will grow and change as you learn the ropes. Duties include, but are not limited to: - Removing metal and any foreign material from the lumber like nails and staples - Lumber sorting, scaling, and stacking. - Maintaining a clean and organized work space. - Moving lumber in and out of corral board department (forklift training provided) Qualifications: - Strong math & measuring skills. This position requires the ability to calculate things such as board footage, square footage, and lineal footage. - Problem solving skills - Ability to make quick decisions independently - Attention to detail - Must be comfortable operating a Skil saw & chain saw, and other equipment as required. - Ability to lift up to 50lbs Benefits: - Competitive pay - Health, Dental, Vision & Health Savings Plan (HSA) - 401k Retirement plan - PTO, Holiday Pay - Flexible Schedules Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.
