Leading Environmental Contractor of 40 years located in Bohemia, NY is currently seeking reliable, and safety minded individuals to perform various tasks to include but not limited to, industrial cleaning, tank cleaning, emergency response, handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and operation of various equipment. This is for a full time position. We offer competitive pay with benefits and opportunity for career growth. Company provided uniforms, training, and all required personal protective equipment. Candidates will receive on the job training as well as online training. Candidates will have the opportunity to be trained for their Commercial Driver License (CDL). Employment Responsibilities: · Ensures Health and Safety is number one goal by following policies and procedures. · Individual to work well with others as part of project team, and with onsite clientele. · Perform labor activities in all weather conditions. · Work may include atmospheres with low clearance, confined spaces, and various heights. · Availability to respond 24/7 for emergency response and overtime as required on a weekly rotation. Candidate qualifications: · Valid and clean NYS Class D Driver’s License. · Reliable transportation. · High School Diploma or equivalent. · Basic Mechanical Knowledge a plus. · Must pass background/ drug screening. · Good communication skills. Salary Range $17-$20, commensurate with experience. (Additional compensation for specialized projects/emergency response.) Pay Frequency: Weekly
