Bassist looking for funk band

Hi folks - I'm a bassist in my 40s, looking for like-minded people who want to play funk and soul music. Open to just about any situation - start up, established group, loose jam session, sub for a gigging band, etc. I'm not looking to make a living playing music though, and my days of being able to do even limiting touring are over. Covers or originals are fine by me - for originals, it'd be nice to have some creative input, especially around the bass lines, but happy to discuss those issues as they come up. I have multiple decades of experience, and have pro gear and excellent chops and feel. I'm a responsible adult with a steady day job, and no drug habits. Are any of you interested in playing some deep grooves? Maybe play a low key gig here and there? Hit me up if you're game! S
