We are currently seeking the right candidate to join our team as a Chemical Plant Operator / Facility Maintenance technician. Opportunities exist to grow within the company for the right candidate. Responsibilities include: • Unloading, warehousing, and tracking incoming raw materials • Managing and monitoring chemical production processes • Basic quality assurance (QA) and Testing • Loading out finished product • Maintaining facility cleanliness and safety compliance • Light plumbing, and electrical repair and maintenance • Completing specific repairs and plant improvement projects on an as-needed basis • Travel required up to 50% of the time Qualifications & Experience • Experience operating a forklift • Ability to lift 50 lbs. • Experience with chemicals and chemical manufacturing is a major plus • Experience with OSHA regulation and compliance • Warehouse work experience including preparing shipments, receiving shipments, and managing inventory. • Experience with light plumbing, electrical, or building/facility maintenance a plus • Problem solving ability, desire to learn, and ability to learn quickly • Positive attitude, with a willingness to do whatever needed to get the job done, attention to detail and safety conscious.
