Hello We are a local Racing Pigeon organization. We are looking for a person to drive a 10' cutaway van that has a 10' box. This is to pickup and transport racing pigeons to designated release points and release pigeons for a race. Driver must have a good driving record and be a responsible and dependable person. Trips are mainly weekends but sometimes may need to be moved to a weekday when the weather is better suited for a good race. A retired person or someone that is flexible with their time is more ideally suited for this position. We race about 8 weeks in the Spring starting around April 20th and again in the Fall starting in mid August. Distances range from 100 to 300 miles and at least 1/2 of the driving is done at night so the driver should be OK with night driving. Ideally the truck will start picking up the birds at the Northampton club so someone close to this area would be great. If interested please call Roy for more information and details.
