Offering instruction for Playing Guitar and Vocals for $20/hr or sliding scale available for low income or youth students. Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter with ~37yrs of experience, I have a wealth of knowledge to share and can definitely help you to get closer to where you want to be as a musician... Music Theory, Scales, Chords, Rhythm, Technique & Deliberate Resonant Tonal Projection- both with Picking AND with Voice. Interested in a WIDE variety of musical styles: Rock, Latin, Blues, Jazz, Folk, Reggae, Raga.... So, I guess now I'm going to make the admittedly bold-sounding claim: that I can show you how to play just about Any Song or Songs that you're really Passionate about Playing... -Seriously! (Or at least- get you STARTED on the Path to Success!!!) I am 99% self-taught, and learned mainly by practicing such techniques as Ear Training to recognize chords just by hearing them, and also just plucking away with Melodies in Mind- to eventually Unify the Resonances of Inspiration and Muscle Memory.... Can also provide helpful written materials: like charts of chords, scales, or even your whole favorite songs- all written out in Guitar Tablature!
