Metalpro is a 33 year old commercial recycling company in Springfield, VA. We are an ethical, safe, clean, well organized, small company with low turnover. Our average employee has worked here for over 11 years. We need a full time laborer to work 50 hours per week in our recycling facility. You must have a great safety attitude. Sort tires, scrap metal and plastic Help load trucks Load and operate horizontal baler General cleaning work Assist in welding shop You must be in good physical condition. Position requires strength and stamina. Learn to operate crane trucks, roll-off trucks and tractor trailers. Forklift experience helpful but not required. Good driving record is helpful but not required. Non-smoking work environment. You must have a great safety attitude. Steady, year round work, 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, from 5:30 AM to approx. 4:00 PM. Compensation: $16/hour minimum, plus OT and good benefits(health insurance, holidays, vacation, retirement plan). Will pay more for highly qualified applicant.
