The local Colorado Relax The Back stores are looking for full-time Delivery Team Lead. The Delivery Lead is a field position that is in charge of the product delivery part of our business. Deliveries are done in Colorado Springs, Denver and throughout the state of Colorado. Essential Job Functions • Prepare truck for operation by assisting in and overseeing the loading of trucks, securing of items and verifying the accuracy of shipping papers • Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mind • Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customers’ needs • Maintain communication with company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received • Document delivery, accuracy and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives and report any discrepancies to company • Increase customer satisfaction by collecting information, feedback on service and resolving complaints per company policy; communicate information back to company • Maintain and monitor truck maintenance and driving record requirements, and maintain required documents for safety, security and quality processes • Update job knowledge • Safely operate warehouse equipment as required • Maintain a safe driving record free of violations • Perform occasional warehouse duties • Follow company policies and procedures • Other duties as assigned All employees must be team players and perform their job duties with collaboration. Delivery Team members must handle all merchandise returns and client problems/complaints with an outstanding customer service attitude. Working Relations: take initiative to fulfill client, store and warehouse priorities and needs; cooperate with fellow associates; promote a positive team spirit; follow all company policies and procedures, including attendance, timekeeping, personal conduct, dress code. Physical / Mental Requirements: • Able to lift 70 pounds unassisted and 150 pounds assisted • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Communication skills; able to identify and solve problems • Able to read a map and accurately plan a route • Experience with small handheld tools • Accuracy and attention to detail • Professional demeanor • Able to handle difficult customers with diplomacy and tact • Able to work with the elderly in their homes on deliveries • Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment • Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures • Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills • Pass a drug screen and background check • Military experience a PLUS Reporting Relationship: Reports to the owner.
