Briley's Upholstery Shop is looking for a part-time woodworking assistant. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have attention to detail and be punctual and reliable. This job is perfect for someone interested in learning furniture frame building. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Assisting lead wood worker with projects as needed Assisting with deliveries and installations Keeping area clean and organized Ordering wood and other supplies Candidates must be: Reliable and punctual Friendly and mature Team oriented Able to multi-task and work efficiently Able to shift gears as priorities change Able to lift heavy furniture, 50 lbs + Able to problem solve and prioritize when multiple assignments are given Candidates must have: Interest in wood working Experience with shop tools Willingness to learn and follow directions Valid drivers license Reliable transportation to work No more than two tickets in the past two years or three in the past three years No more than one at fault accident in the past three years Company t-shirts are provided and must be worn. Free company lunch on the first Friday of every month.
