AUDITIONS for Highschool Indie Movie: “The Soup, The Sting, and The Briefcase” ______________________________________________________________ About the film: The Soup, The Sting and The Briefcase is a Dark Comedy-Drama-Heist film, in which a group of teenagers get caught up in a heist to fund a heist movie that they are making themselves. ______________________________________________________________ We are looking for actors ages 15-20 to fill three very different roles: The Hero: Male or Female. The protagonist, the point of normality for the audience to follow throughout. The Hero starts out normal and a bit of a pushover, then slowly becomes more and more chaotic and independent as the film progresses. The actor must be able to be scared, angry, sad, and calm. Stage fighting experience is a plus. Has the most lines in the script. Soup: Male or Female. A supporting character. Soup is willing to get involved with anything, but is a bit of an idiot and often messes things up. Stage fighting experience is a plus. Will get kidnapped at a point in the script, but the character will get revenge. The Dealer: Male or Female. A villain. The Dealer is a drug dealer. The actor needs to be able to be aggressive, menacing, scary, and scared. Must be okay with being carried by other actors and with getting fake blood on them. Stage fighting experience is a plus. It is a small but important role. ______________________________________________________________ When: Auditions will be held at the Dover Public Library on Saturday July 24th from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
