Help Golden Grove Trading be a leader in the Apparel and Giftware industry by acting as the Merchandiser Representative who identifies market potential; recommends new products and services. As a Merchandiser rep you will help facilitate and foster continued sales growth through constant interaction with our accounts as well as others in the company. Company email address is provided. Daily job duties involve: • Emailing daily photos of our product to team leaders • Following up on any correspondence from our company or team leaders • Placing orders • Cleaning displays and products • Collecting Proof of Delivery receipts • Ensuring all products delivered is accounted for as stated on invoice. • Product is merchandised correctly, following set Plan-o-grams • Seasonal switch over of products twice a year • Traveling about 15-125 miles roundtrip per day depending on area of service Requirements: • Merchandising our product at major retailers • Clean and decorate displays • Set up seasonal promotions • Have a reliable vehicle Other requirements include: • Good communication skills • Be able to lift boxes weighing 15-40 pounds • Experience working in retail, pharmacy or grocery chains is a plus but not a requirement. • Experience relaying sensitive information to appropriate parties. Keeps clients, superiors, peers, and direct reports updated regularly. Demonstrates persistence, overcomes obstacles, and strives to improve skills and achieve goals. Closes the sale by addressing customer concerns, demonstrating empathy, and consistently moving the customer towards commitment. Presents information effectively and persuasively across communication settings. • You must be outgoing, be able to think on your feet, and be well poised for this position. • Speaks clearly and effectively in a variety of settings.
