Contemplating rehoming my Sub-Adult Red Argentine Tegu. His name is Atrayu, and he is roughly 2 years old. Suspected hatch month is February/March of 2019. He MUST go to an experienced reptile keeper, as he is currently in his “terrible twos”. He is irritable and difficult to control when upset. He is food driven, meaning he will only “attack” if he thinks you have food on hand. He does not actively try to attack people. Once out of his cage, he is nervous but is non-aggressive. He will include his cage, which is an 8 foot plastic PVC enclosure with sliding acrylic doors. Enclosure includes light fixtures (heat, and two 22inch linear UVB strips), locks, sliding doors, substrate, swimming pool, all decorations, and whatever food I have on hand. The full price for him and all of his belongings is $1,500, OBO. I will need to see proof that you are capable of taking care of him. Social media accounts, current herp collection, etc. Do not ask me to trade. Do not offer me a price that you KNOW is ridiculous. His cage was very expensive, as was he.
