Description

Let's just call this what it was: a failed experiment. Our seven-year-old swore up and down that the only thing that she wanted (on every gift giving occasion!!), after a very difficult year of semi-isolation and COVID disappointments, was a pet. Specifically, parakeets. Being the giant suckers that we are--and, again, feeling pretty guilty about the year our kid had just gone through, and mostly been a trooper about--we eventually caved. She loved them for a solid month and now pretty much ignores them except for basic care. Now, that would have been fine, except we moved and there's no space in her new room for the parakeets. We could put them some place else in the house but seeing as how she basically ignores them and it was *not* the greatest wish, dream, etc. of my husband and I to have parakeets in our laundry room, we all decided it was time to offer these little dudes to a new home where they would actually get some love and attention. But of course, that is where they can continue to live if we don't find them a good new home. And that, my friends, is how we now have 3 parakeets with a generous sized cage, cage cover, plus a travel carrier and MANY miscellaneous toys, treats, food. All of this can be yours for the low, low rehoming fee of $40 (negotiable - I'm not going to calculate what we spent on this entire package because I don't hate myself that much). They are cheery little buggers and I think are young - one is quite tame, another is tame enough to be handled, and the third is working on it :-) Here's the cage: https://www.chewy.com/prevue-pet-products-wrought-iron/dp/133569 Email me to talk details, or text me.
