JOB SUMMARY: We are hiring for a Maintenance Technician position to perform repairs and to prepare rental apartments for leasing. The position requires experience with plumbing, heating, electrical, painting and cleaning. This is an apartment rehab position that pays weekly for work performed on single / multi family houses and apartment buildings. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Install lights, doors, windows, appliances, and other property-related mechanicals. • Paint interior and/or exterior walls. Drywall repair / replace. • Replace washers, faucets and seals on malfunctioning plumbing equipment, repair leaky faucets and clean clogged drains. • Install/repair flooring, walls, trim, ceilings etc... • Occasional night and weekend hours; also must take on call hours on rotation for emergencies and snow removal. • Maintain inspections and maintenance of buildings in order for them to pass inspections including meter readings. • Maintain mechanical such as heating and ventilation, electrical, water heaters, etc… • May assist in obtaining and/or unloading of delivery supplies. • Assist with maintaining company standards for property security. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be required.
