Tomahawk Tree Service of Roswell is looking for full-time vehicle and equipment maintenance tech. *** You must have a working knowledge of engines and mechanical equipment which includes the ability to change oil, change out plugs, etc. Our ideal candidate is someone who wants to learn, be mentored, and grow in expertise to move into the lead medium-heavy duty equipment mechanic role when ready. *** Tomahawk Tree Service has been in Roswell for over 30 years and is one of the highest rated tree service providers across the North Atlanta area. Responsibility requirements: Maintenance Tech will perform repairs and maintenance on various equipment, gas and diesel powered vehicles. Other equipment repair and maintenance responsibilities would include woodchippers, skid loaders, logging equipment, as well as chainsaws, etc. This position involves working in an indoor and outdoor working environment as on-site mechanical work is often necessary. Some infrequent travel may be required. Responsibilities and Duties: • Performing preventative maintenance according to service manuals: o Fluid and filter changes, greasing, brake/belt/bearing adjustments. • Coordinating repairs with partnered shops and garages. • Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues. • Maintaining all service records and logs. Optimal Qualifications and Skills: • General vehicle maintenance knowledge • Experience working in a repair shop or quick-lube facility a big plus! • Must pass a drug test. • CDL Class B is a plus • Must have valid driver’s license & reliable personal transportation. • Coachable, Good attitude, Work ethic.
