Description
Hello, Max and Miranda are two rescue cats around one year old. They have both been fixed. I am moving out of the country and just can't see them making it on an 11 hour flight and hours of car rides. Max (Orange cat, full name: Maximillian Maximus Maxwell): He's a pretty big boy with a great personality. He's everyone's favorite of the two. He can be a bit of a scaredy cat with new people, but once he's accepted you, you're in! Personality: easy going, sleepy, lots of bunting and likes when you're home. He is a grade A hunter. These are perfect cats if you have a rat problem. Miranda (Tuxedo cat): Such a sweet girl. She follows me from room to room in the morning. We sometimes call her "peep peep" because that's the noise she makes. By the afternoon she naps in her sunny spot. Miranda is fine with the heat. Maxie likes to hide in a cool, dark closet when it's really hot outside. Personality: shy! When new people come into the house she hides for hours. When you are home, she's laying by your side or in one of her favorite spots. They are really playful when you feel like playing. They would love if I played with them more. They like the string with a feather on it mostly. Maxie loves a good stuffed animal, and they have just discovered cat nip toys. Mmmm. They would be perfect for a house with no other pets. Maxie can sometimes have a power struggle with who's the boss, but I remind him every time. The cats are used to getting their nails clipped. Once Maxie knows you, he'll just sit there. Miranda will be a bit harder but I just lock myself in the bathroom with her so she can't escape. They are really clean animals. I have had no problems with fleas (although I heard fleas don't live around here?!) or bad smells. They are smart enough to train (I use a spray bottle with water and they learn quickly) and they have never(!) had an accident outside the litter box. I got a fish before them and the fish was more maintenance and care than these guys. Let them outside for the night and in the day time they will nap all day. Or, keep them inside (I lock them in the bathroom with litter and food because they get playful at night) and they will want to play all morning until they get tired out and nap the rest of the day away. Really low maintenance guys. Again, they would be perfect for someone who gets lonely or just wants to hang out with cats. The only downside is they don't like to be picked up. I pick them up anyway and they are great with pets and sitting on your lap or taking naps with you, but they won't let me hold them like a baby for example. These cats are FREE to a good home!! I will drive to you! We just want them to be happy. Have a big back yard? Want them to be hunters on your farm? These cats will just blend right in with your lifestyle. It will take 2-3 weeks. Lock them in the house and let them get used to the smells, you and your daily routine and then, I promise, you'll love them as if they were your own kids.
