Job Title: Maintenance Technicians for Manufactured Home Community We are seeking experienced individuals for Maintenance Technician positions for our community. Full-Time and Part-Time positions available Typical working hours are Mon.-Fri. 8:30 -5pm with some schedule flexibility available. EOE with a Team Culture. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing any/all service requests (except major electrical). The Maintenance Technician reports to the Property Manager and requires attention to detail, the ability to follow directions, organizational skills, ability to work independently and have pride in helping us maintain a beautiful community for our Tenants and Visitors. General Job Duties: Basic knowledge of plumbing, light electrical, changing locks, landscaping/maintaining community grounds, Exterior/ Interior painting, caulking, drywall installation and repair, pressure washing, ability to operate and maintenance a zero-turn mower, trimmer, chainsaw, basic knowledge of all power tools necessary to preform job duties (drills, saws, etc.), operate and maintain/maintenance company vehicles including snow plowing, salt spreading and dump truck operation, able to do most any housing repairs and renovations with strong carpentry skills, assist Property Manager with passing out notices and violations, communicate with contractors and schedule work as required. Requirements: At least one year of rental property/apartment/hotel or similar maintenance experience required. Have a strong work ethic, reliability and dependability are a must. Enjoy working with others and able take direction when needed. Maintain a friendly and customer service-oriented approach to co-workers, venders, contractors, and our valued Tenants. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, lift 50+ lbs. and be able to pass background screening. Preference given to applicants with extensive previous experience, high skill level, able to professionally handle maintenance emergency calls and be available for after hours and weekend emergencies. Pool maintenance and operating experience preferred. Highest preference given to those with Manufactured Home industry experience. Concrete and/or blacktop/asphalt experience a plus.
