2 guys stuck...

Hello, sorry for coming on here and doing this but it's a last ditch effort and I honestly have no idea what to do right now. Me and brother started working for a small contractor, an ok deal, he gets the house to remodel or whatever and we stay at the house until work finished. First house was ok, we got almost half up front,a small draw in between then quarter,quarter at and after completing the work. So skip from 3 months ago to right now, I'd type it all but it's absolutely ridiculous all that transpired during this time, anyway, now we are stuck in a house in about Grove City, have had no money for 10 days, we have as of this morning ran out of food, our personal situations have completely went down the gutter....we have no family,no one to run to for help, we are just two guys that know how to work that have been used and abused and we can't even leave we have nowhere to go and we are on a side of town we don't know at all. I am absolutely not asking anyone on here who decides to read this for handout, money, nothing. I'm asking if anyone that reads this that could be within our means to get to, has any work we can do to please make some money to get by? We both know the construction trades very well, we have some tools as well, we are stuck...the guy that has put us in this, has been almost unreachable,calls once every few days with a story,an excuse,and a means to keep us trapped by telling us he will come get us to go do side jobs and make good, quick money but he never comes. There is a full story but I know too much is too much and I'm honestly just trying to find a means for us to make a few dollars without having to completely embarrass and humiliate ourselves and stand on a corner with a sign and pathetically beg for help.
