PIERCAN USA APPLY HERE The maintenance Specialist position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. Responsibilities: ▪ Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance and repairs on automated production lines including but not limited to, conveyer systems, electric and pneumatic tables/doors, robotic manipulators. ▪ Perform facility maintenance on equipment such as but not limited to compressors, chiller units, dust collectors, lighting. ▪ Perform mechanical repairs on but not limited to, gearboxes, chains, pullies, conveyer systems, pneumatic cylinders, piping and tubing. ▪ Perform electrical diagnostic/repairs on but not limited to, various sensors (proximity, optical, inductive) VFD, three phase motors, IO system. ▪ PLC, VFD and sensor programing/modification desired. ▪ Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders and electrical diagrams. ▪ Knowledge of both AC and DC high and low voltage circuits. ▪ Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. ▪ Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. ▪ Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. ▪ Report daily activities on the program software. ▪ Other duties may be assigned Qualifications/Additional Skills Aptitude: ▪ Troubleshooting of both AC/ DC high and low voltage electrical systems. ▪ Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and repair manuals. ▪ Knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems. ▪ Drilling, tapping, tube bending, soldering, welding (helpful). ▪ Ability to work in confided spaces, must be able to enter equipment through small access doors. ▪ Ability to work at heights over 10 feet on ladders and using a scissor lift. ▪ Ability to work as a team player, follow instructions, and comply with company safety policies. ▪ Flexible to work overtime and weekends from time to time. Education / Experience: • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education with production maintenance experience. • 4+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment • Strong electric, pneumatic, mechanical, industrial, automation and robotic skills required. • Experience with HVAC is desirable.
