Part-time custodian

This position is 6 to 8hrs a week! We are looking for a Janitor, or custodian, to take care of our facility and carry out cleaning. The goal is to keep our facility in a clean and orderly condition. Tuesdays and Fridays mornings 6:30am to 8:30am after 90 days 5:30am to 8:30am. Must be have a clean Cori - we are located inside of a school. Responsibilities Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc) Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Make adjustments and minor repairs Stock and maintain supply rooms Cooperate with the rest of the staff Follow all health and safety regulations Skills Proven working experience as a janitor Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets Integrity and ability to work independently High school degree Job Type: Part-time COVID-19 considerations: We are a non-profit located inside a school building - must wear a mask through-out the building.
