Experienced Maintenance and Construction person needed for a family-owned property management company. We manage single-family rental houses and small multi-family apartment buildings. We are seeking someone experienced in maintenance, construction and remodeling to add to our team. Work varies from day-to-day rental repairs such as basic plumbing, clearing clogged drains, repairing doors, painting, wall patching, electrical repairs, etc. to complete unit renovations of units at move-out. The job site may vary by the day or by the week. Our properties are located throughout Tulare and Fresno counties and range from the mountains of eastern Fresno County near Dunlap, CA to Visalia, Tulare and Exeter, CA in Tulare County. The majority of the properties are located in Visalia, CA. The maintenance department renovates vacant rental homes and apartments, performs day-to-day rental repairs/maintenance on occupied units and renovates new acquisitions. We are committed to providing a fast paced but safe work environment for our employees while delivering a superior rental experience for our tenants. * Must have strong work ethic, high repair standards, an eye for detail, and the ability to deliver quality work in a timely manner. Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass background check and drug/alcohol test. * 2-3 years or more of construction, maintenance or renovation experience. * Need to communicate well in English. * Full-time position with 30-40 hours per week. Must be reliable and available on call up to two weekends a month for occasional after-hours emergency work. * Pay is dependent upon experience.
