Must Haves: At least 1 year highway/roadway maintenance or landscaping experience Ability to obtain MOT certification Plusses: Roadway herbicide knowledge/certification MOT/OSHA/Other transportation certs Roadway safety knowledge Experience operating heavy machinery Day-to-Day: Our client is looking for some Roadway Maintenance Technicians to join their team to help with some projects they recently won in South Florida. Our client specializes in roadway maintenance projects for the FL Department of Transportation and local city/county governments. As a Maintenance Technician your responsibilities will include cleaning highway road shoulders/slops/drainage structures, repairing fences/signs, debris removal, landscape maintenance duties (weed control/mowing/fertilizer application, operating bush hog/blowers/chain saw), and helping with equipment/roadway safety.
