This ad/search is for unique bassist. Band is dedicated to Jaco's memory (no we don't cover his tunes, we are all original). Must have that lead/improvisational persona/bassist living under your skin. Please reply ONLY in under 35, living and working in New York and available for PM rehearsals. We don't post ads for musicians who charge other musicians for rehearsals (as for gigs, every penny will be split evenly). We prefer that our bassist has a job that pays all bills, less pressure on us and more freedom for creative atmosphere. Please NO 7-8-9 bass players, Jaco played 4 and still remains that best bassist ever born. Our bass amp is not the best, but it does the job and non of Berklee grad bassist ever complained about quality or ability, so basically you don't have to bring yout amp, just bass and some pedals (hopefully you use some additional sounds beside clean).
