Guitarist seeks any/few instrumentalists: guitar, keys, cello, violin, bouzouki, mandolin, etc. Think Calexico, Balmorhea, Dead Can Dance, Nick Drake, Michael Hedges, And Also the Trees, Arvo Part, Bartok. The idea is a collective that is just not quite classical, not quite goth or new age. I am a trained classical guitarist, old school shoegazer and currently play in the Baroque folk pop quartet Her Finest Hour. Just looking for any like-minded spirits. No casinos. No promises of opening for Whitesnake or Slayer. No, the European tour is not already booked. Probably no money. Be authentic. Know your instrument. Play because it is part of who you are. The rest just happens.
