Hello! I am a singer and theater maker recently moved to New Orleans from NY. My background is in choral, classical, and musical theater singing (20+ years) and I am looking to make a move into working with musicians and exploring more contemporary music as an independent singer. I'm interested in soul, jazz, R&B, alternative, blues, and funk. My voice is really versatile and I can pretty much sing any genre. Putting myself out there as a singer outside of the professional theater realm would be totally new for me so I am looking for musicians and artists willing to show support and guidance with that kind of transition for someone (me!) with great vocals and tons of potential or artists starting out on their first band ventures. I would love to meet up with musicians or bands looking to collaborate on new, original music. I do not have any demos at the moment but would be willing to record some samples of specific genres for people interested in meeting up or sing something for you upon meeting.
