Calling all pet lovers! Are you interested in a permanent and FUN position working with animals? Auntie Em's Tailwaggin' Pet Services is looking to fill a Dog Walker/Pet Sitter position to serve Superior, Louisville, Lafayette and immediately surrounding areas. We are a small team of dog-adoring, kitty-cuddling pet enthusiasts who delight in the company of animals - whether their people are just at work for the day or vacationing out of the country for longer. We're experiencing explosive growth and are looking to add someone like you to our team! We are seeking active, attentive, compassionate, and committed candidates who are ready to love our clients' pets like they love their own.Typical responsibilities include: - Walking dogs - Enriching pets through play and loving attention - Feeding, watering, and cleaning up after pets - Administering oral or topical medications - Communicating with the owner about the pet's well-being via our pet sitting app Successful pet sitters for Auntie Em's have... - Reliable transportation to and from pet sitting appointments - Ability to pass a criminal background check - Comfort with using a smartphone with GPS capabilities (we use an App to summarize the visits and communicate with the clients) - Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions - Compassion and patience when interacting with pets and their people - Ability to commit to a schedule, understanding that the pets are relying on us for their care - Live in or immediately nearby the primary service area (Superior, Louisville, Lafayette) - A genuine love for animals and the outdoors!
