Cultivation Technician Job Description: We are a vertically integrated cannabis company and we are seeking full-time, reliable, hard-working cultivation staff to assist with prep and maintenance, planting and plant care, harvesting, and general labor. • Perform all the tasks at the farm including: • Cleaning • Cloning • Transplanting • Defoliation • Topping • Foliar and preventative sprays • Trimming • Packaging • Waste disposal Job Duties & Qualifications (including but not limited to): • Assist with cannabis plants, giving each individual plant the attention it needs, one at a time • Ability to adapt to strain variations • Ability to adjust techniques accordingly • Ability to maintain quality standards and production goals • Ability to stand for long periods of time • Maintain a clean and organized work environment • Work well with others and independently • Attention to detail • Knowledge of soil growing methods including micronutrients, beneficial bacteria • Knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as plant treatment options • Knowledge of cannabis industry specific weights, products, strain classifications, genetics and compliance • Facility maintenance • Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor required management of the farm. • Excellent personal hygiene • Bi-Lingual a plus • Must possess accountability, proactive behavior, and strong attention to detail. • You are trustworthy and hard working Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Additionally, this role requires that the employee frequently must sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers; and/or look at written and electronic documents with small or fine print. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Compensation Full-Time at $16-$20 per hour, based on experience.
