Can you move dirt within a crawlspace?

Jobs

709 S. Alston Avenue near Linwood Avenue, Durham NC

Description

I need a path dug in my crawlspace. The desired path needs to be 3' deep (from the bottom of the path to the bottom of the joists overhead), 2' wide at the bottom, 4' wide at the top, and 50' long. A diagram of what I need is attached. I've also included a photo of the crawlspace, which is pretty clear of debris and well lit. The dirt you move must go ONLY in the locations marked as "available for storage". I'll pay $1.50 per cubic foot. I expect to need 150 cubic feet moved, but it might be as much as 250 cubic feet. So, you should earn at least $225, but you could earn as much as $375. I'll provide the red sleds in the photo (to transport dirt), knee pads, work gloves and a short shovel, for you to use during the job. The dirt is not very compact. It's easy to shovel, but you need to move it to the other side of the crawlspace. The floorplan is 39' wide and 50' deep. It is not tall enough to stand in. This is a job one person can do, or two people can share the job (one digs, while the other one transports dirt). With four sleds, you should both be able to stay busy. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have, starting at 6am. But, first come; first served. So, maybe it's best to just come see the job, and email me when you start driving to the job? If two (or even three) of you are there first thing, you can split the job.
