I play Guitars, Saxes, Bass, Vocals, Keys, compose/songwrite, and know my theory. Fun, knowledgeable, kind, flexible, and straightforward. Available for all kinds of music gigs with an emphasis on teaching and performing. Highly experienced, have been performing, teaching, and studying music since age 5, instructor since age 14 (so, 21 years). Highly trained, attended Eastman School of Music and the University of Rochester and achieved first customized BA in Popular Music and Jazz. Genre's of preference/that I write in are mainly in rock with a strong emphasis on grunge/90s alternative, post grunge, singer-songwriter acoustic, pop punk, and punk, but also blues and jazz. Candidly, it depends on the setting and the instrument. My training is classically based too but I wouldn't label myself a classical musician. Also available for lessons, tutoring, arranging, transcription, music business stuff, performance/sit-in, established bands, composing/songwriting, or any musical need or service you can dream up. I drive and and am fully vaccinated, but don't really have the space in my home to host more than one or two other musicians at a time, especially if you're a drummer. So that should be considered. I of course would be down to take advantage of a nice day/outdoors or do a socially distanced or digital collaboration, especially if you're not yet vaccinated.
