I am begrudgingly writing this post, in the hopes that someone out there might give my 8 year old cat, Lewis, a chance at a fresh start in a new home. Rehoming Lewis is literally the last thing I want to do; unfortunately, he has dominance issues, which causes him to go to the bathroom outside of the litter box. We have 3 other cats who don’t have this issue; only Lewis. He has been to the vet on multiple occasions, to rule out any type of illness and we have tried several different behavioral methods, but to no avail. We believe he would do best in a home where he is the ONLY cat and with a person or family who can devote a lot of time and attention to him. He is VERY sweet and loving and he has NO OTHER behavioral problems, such as hissing, biting, aggression, etc. He does well with children and adults alike and he has done well around a variety of other animals. He gets along with other cats, but due to his dominant personality, he really should be the only cat in the home - he would do well in a home with dogs and other animals - just not other cats. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY AND I WILL BE SELECTIVE WITH REHOMING HIM!! Small rehoming fee applies, to ensure that he will be placed in a loving, permanent home.
